“DC Dubois was born in Michigan and attended Long Beach State University, majoring in English, Russian and French. Upon completing her BA, she got her teaching credential in Special and Gifted Education and then a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling, the latter of which giving her a keen insight into to the complexities of human behavior. She has resided in Santa Fe New Mexico since 1979, where she taught everything from grammar school to college. Upon retiring, she joined the Peace Corps and trained teachers in Mongolia for 27 months. She now spends her days writing, hiking, and working actively for affordable housing in her beloved Santa Fe—truly practicing what she preaches by subdividing her own property in order to create two additional affordable rentals. This is her first novel, and she is already working on the second one.”
